Entire Village Wins Lottery
Now this is the coolest thing I have heard in recent gambler news history. The residents of the tiny village of Granen in Spain pitched in €20 each for the lottery and they actually won a massive €720 Million! This means that each of the residents who contributed will be taking home close to €400,000. The villagers have taken to the streets to celebrate and there is champagne and cheer all round. But about 200 of the residents have been shying away from the celebrations. Why? Because they were the only ones who didn’t contribute and so they don’t get to be millionaires. What a shame.
